Sunfall Records was originally created as a production and distribution mechanism for the works of recording artist William Stankay. As his projects evolved, William began to develop Sunfall into an innovative production company and independent record label offering a variety of services to new & established artists, filmmakers, advertising agencies, gaming companies and more.

Notable scoring projects include original music for Powerade's March Madness commercial campaign, starring NBA player Damian Lillard; trailer music for the Lionsgate film "Deepwater Horizon", directed by Peter Berg (Lone Survivor) and starring Mark Wahlberg, Kate Hudson, Kurt Russell, Dylan O'Brien and John Malkovich; original music & score for adventure filmmaker Danny Strasser; an original score for the feature film "A Fancy Piece of Homicide", directed by Joseph Varhola and starring Bingo O'Malley and Mark Tierno; sound design and additional music for "The Land", the debut feature film from Steven Caple Jr.; additional music and sound design in collaboration with Jongnic Bontemps on the original Lifetime movie "Faith Under Fire", starring Toni Braxton; and an original score and soundtrack album for "Samantha Moonley's Greatest Feeling", directed by Garrett Kennell and David Light. His original work as a recording artist includes the environmentally-inspired "Earthtones" series, recorded and developed in the remote Arctic region of Svalbard and South Central Alaska. His "Earthtones" work has been featured in composer Steven Lebetkin's "Cycles of the Earth" ballet and in Deborah Lindquist's 2017 "A Walk on the Wild Side" fashion show at MODA 360 in Los Angeles, an innovative exhibit of international art, fashion and film benefiting the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens’ conservation programs. The show featured an original score, created by Stankay, using only natural sounds of the Earth and wildlife
